Dr. Kristi Corder was born and raised in Hobbs, NM. She graduated in 2000 from College of the Southwest (now University of the Southwest) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Secondary Physical Education. During her course of study, she was the team trainer for the College of the Southwest volleyball team.

After graduation, Dr. Kristi moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to attend Parker College of Chiropractic (now Parker University). In school, she was involved in the chiropractic sports society, pediatric club, and was the secretary of the Student Body Association. She also received her Fellowship with the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association and certification in Webster Technique for pregnancy.

Upon graduation in 2003, she opened her home-based practice part-time while working full-time in another chiropractor’s office. For over 15 years her home-based office experienced tremendous growth as she moved from taking all forms of insurance to having an all-cash practice.

It was while taking insurance that Dr. Kristi realized that she wasn’t able to serve the families that she so desired to serve. With the high cost of insurance deductibles and sky-high co-pays, it just wasn’t feasible for an entire family to get regular chiropractic care. And with her philosophy of keeping people healthy instead of fixing them when they were “broke,” insurance just wouldn’t cover any sort of wellness care.

In 2013, Dr. Kristi changed her office fee system to one known as Box-on-the-Wall (or Honor Fee System). This afforded everyone, regardless of financial status or size of family, to get the chiropractic wellness care that they all so desired.

A few years ago, Dr. Kristi was diagnosed with anaphylactic reactions to a number of foods. After having no success with a traditional medical doctor, she sought the care of a functional medicine doctor. Although some relief was experienced, the anaphylactic reactions remained, and she was given an epi-pen and told to stay away from all offending foods.

Knowing that the body is an amazing thing fully capable of healing, Dr. Kristi knew there had to be another form of treatment that could get to the bottom of these food allergies. This is when she was introduced to Practical Homeopathy and homeopath Joette Calabrese. Within 24 hours of using the recommended homeopathic protocol, the reactions stopped and never returned.

Today, Dr. Kristi leads numerous virtual homeopathy study groups, hold many certificates in homeopathy, and consults with clients online looking for help with acute and chronic illnesses using homeopathy, nutrition, and holistic lifestyle changes.

Dr. Kristi is married to her husband Brent and travels the country in their RV with their 3 kids who she also homeschools.
